Note:
8 to 12 °CA (nominal values) are the values programmed in the control unit. This does not mean that this pre-ignition is actually present. Check with the Opel Tester whether the programmed and actual values match.
IMPORTANT: Basic adjustment of the distributor (high voltage distribution only)can only be carried out statically (C 24 NE, C 30 NE, C 30 SE).
For this
· Match the pin with the ball or coloured mark on the flywheel by turning the crankshaft.
· Turn the distributor housing so that the markings on the distributor arm aligns with the marks on the distributor housing.
All other engines have bolted-down high voltage distribution.
