Vehicle with AC:
This check can be performed in two operating conditions: ignition ON, engine OFF or engine running at idle speed. The first part of the check should be performed if the engine cannot be started; otherwise the second part ensures accurate diagnosis.
Check 1:
Ignition ON
Engine OFF
AC switched ON
Press key F5 in the system main menu, select the desired test using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tester display.
Note:
The AC cutoff relay is actuate at a frequency of 0.5 Hz.
The check is completed after a maximum of 30 s.
Check 2:
Engine running at idle speed
AC switched ON

Noise check:
clicking noise from relay
Press key F5 in the system main menu, select the desired test using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tester display.
