Injection Pump
The mechanical drive and low pressure parts include a rotary vane pump, a pressure control valve, a roller ring and an injection adjuster. The high pressure part consists of the distributor, piston, relief valve, control valve, eccentric pin, spring bridge with return springs, and pressure pipe connections.
A position sensor assembly monitors the control valve and consists of an arrangement of sensor coils and magnetic rings that use eddy currents to determine the position of the control valve. This arrangement is an improvement over the use of a potentiometer in similar type injection pumps.
