· Ignition ON Open loop systems: · Control unit defective

Ter. 20 grounded,

· Check Ter. 20 at control unit 0V

optically and with multimeter

Note: To remove the control unit plug cable cover, 3 bolts must be loosened and the cover pulled off upwards.

When doing this, do not disconnect the control unit from the wiring harness if possible, as this may delete stored trouble codes.
