Objective:
Operational check of the spill valve.
Measurement:
Plot of voltage at the control signal of the spill valve.
Preparation:
Switch off the engine and ignition. Engine oil temperature 20-80°C .
Connections:

| Connect red measurement lead to pin 2 of the plug connector on the spill valve. Connect the black ground lead to pin 1. |
Pilot injection is only used under certain engine operating conditions. Therefore, the first part of the signal might not always be displayed.
Procedure Tech 31:
- 1. Download Reference curve.
- 2. Start engine and allow it to idle.
