Check Oil Pump Opel Combo C

Measure

Note. Oil pump / timing case are removed

Remove

1. 1. Detach oil intake pipe (3) • Unscrew 2 bolts (1) • Remove gasket (2)

2. 2. Remove oil pump cover (2) • Unscrew 5 bolts (1) • Remove inner and outer rotors (3) and (4) • Inspect components

3. 3. Check pump module • Insert inner and outer rotors • (I) Check radial clearance between oil pump housing and outer rotor with feeler gauge – The permissible clearance is 0.10 – 0.23 mm • (II) Check axial clearance between oil pump cover and top of toothed wheel with a straight edge and a feeler gauge – The permissible clearance is 0.050 – 0.075 mm

Install

4. 4. Attach oil pump cover • Tighten 5 bolts 6 Nm
5. 5. Attach oil intake pipe • Insert new gasket • Tighten 2 bolts 6 Nm
