Replacing Oil Pump Seal Ring Opel Combo C

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet

Important. On vehicles with ESP - the steering angle sensor loses its basic adjustment each time the battery is disconnected. It must be recalibrated.

2. 2. Disconnect battery
3. 3. Raise vehicle
4. 4. Remove ribbed V-belt cover • 3x unscrew bolt (1) • Remove clip (arrow)

5. 5. Remove ribbed V-belt (1) • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow • Fit KM-6130 (2)

Note. Mark direction of rotation

6. 6. Detach torsional vibration damper from flange • Unscrew 4 x bolts

Note. Counterhold at torsional vibration damper flange bolt

7. 7. Detach torsional vibration damper flange (2) • Attach KM-662-C (1) to torsional vibration damper flange • Undo torsional vibration damper flange bolt

Note. Left hand thread

8. 8. Prise out oil pump seal ring (1) with suitable tool

Note. Do not damage sealing surfaces

Install

9. 9. Install oil pump seal ring using EN-46776 (1)

10. 10. Fasten torsional vibration damper flange • Tighten bolt firmly 230 Nm

Note. Second mechanic required

11. 11. Remove KM-662-C • Unscrew 2x bolt
12. 12. Install torsional vibration damper • 4x tighten bolt firmly 25 Nm
13. 13. Install ribbed V-belt • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow • Remove KM-6130

Note. Note running direction

14. 14. Install right engine splash guard • 3 bolts • Attach clip
15. 15. Lower vehicle all the way
16. 16. Connect battery
17. 17. Close bonnet
