Check Engine Oil Pressure Opel Combo C

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Place collecting basin underneath.
  3. 3. Remove oil pressure switch (1) • Disconnect wiring harness plug • Unscrew oil pressure switch
  1. 4. Attach KM-498-B (1) • Together with adapter KM-6342
  1. 5. Check oil pressure • Start engine and allow to run • Switch off engine

Note. Oil pressure should be approx. 127 kPa (1.27 bar) at idling speed with oil temperature >= 80 °C

  1. 6. Remove KM-498-B and KM-6342
  2. 7. Clean threads

Install

  1. 8. Install oil pressure switch • Tighten oil pressure switch 20.6 Nm • Connect wiring harness plug

Note. Install oil pressure switch with silicone sealing compound

  1. 9. Program volatile memory

Note. For vehicles with ESP - the steering angle sensor must be recalibrated each time the battery is disconnected. With the ignition on, rotate the steering wheel one time from its right-hand to its left-hand stop.

  1. 10. Close bonnet
