How to Replace the Engine Vent Pipe Opel Meriva A

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Remove air intake hose (2) • Disconnect intake air temperature sensor wiring harness plug (1) – Unclip wiring harness (arrow) • Release 2x clamps (3)
  1. 3. Unclip cable channel from cylinder head cover
  2. 4. Detach engine vent pipe (1) from cylinder head cover (3) • Release retaining clamps (2)
  1. 5. Detach wiring harness bracket (2) from intake manifold • Unscrew 3x bolt
  2. 6. Detach engine vent pipe (1) from intake manifold • Unscrew 2 bolts (3) • Remove Seal ring

Install

  1. 7. Attach engine vent pipe to intake manifold • Insert new seal ring • Tighten 2 bolts
  2. 8. Attach wiring harness bracket to intake manifold • Tighten 3 bolts
  3. 9. Clip cable channel on to cylinder head cover
  4. 10. Attach engine vent pipe to cylinder head cover • Ensure it is seated correctly
  5. 11. Install air intake manifold • Fasten 2x clamps 3.5 Nm • Connect intake air temperature sensor wiring harness plug – Clip wiring harness into position
  6. 12. Close bonnet
