How to Replace the Accessory Drive Opel Meriva A

DOHC Petrol Engine 4 illustrations ~195 words

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Remove air cleaner housing
  3. 3. Raise vehicle
  4. 4. Detach lower engine compartment cover / spray guard
  5. 5. Detach ribbed V-belt (1) • Mark running direction • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner (2) in direction of arrow (anti-clockwise) and secure in place with KM-6130 (3) – Remove ribbed V-belt
  1. 6. Block crankshaft • Insert KM-6625 – Detach bolted connection (1) – Insert KM-6625 (2) – Tighten bolted connection (3)
  1. 7. Detach torsional vibration damper (3) • Unscrew bolt (4)
  2. 8. Detach ribbed V-belt tensioner (1) • Unscrew bolt (2) – Ribbed V-belt tensioner remains locked with KM-6130

Install

  1. 9. Attach ribbed V-belt tensioner (2) • Tighten bolt 50 Nm
  2. 10. Attach torsional vibration damper • Tighten bolt 95 Nm + 30° + 15°

Important. Use new bolt

  1. 11. Remove KM-6625 • Remove screw connection • Tighten screw connection – Use new nuts
  2. 12. Install ribbed V-belt (1) • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow (anti-clockwise) • Install ribbed V-belt • Remove KM-6130 (3)

Note. Note running direction.

  1. 13. Attach lower engine compartment cover / spray guard
  2. 14. Lower vehicle
  3. 15. Install air cleaner housing
