Testing Ribbed V-Belt Tensioner Opel Corsa D

Note. Testing consists of a function check on the automatic ribbed V-belt tensioner and a visual check on the ribbed V-belt and the components linked to it

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Raise vehicle by its full height
3. 3. Detach the lower engine cover and right engine splash guard
4. 4. Testing ribbed V-belt tensioner • Tension the ribbed V-belt tensioner in the direction of the arrow using the bolt (1) and release slowly

Note. The ribbed V-belt tensioner must slide back into its initial position

Install

5. 5. Detach the lower engine cover and right engine splash guard
6. 6. Lower vehicle by its full height
7. 7. Close bonnet
