Replace One Piston/con-Rod Opel Corsa D

Remove

1. 1. Detach piston rings
2. 2. Detach piston (3) from con-rod • Clamp con-rod (4) • Remove retaining ring (1) • Press out piston pin (2)

Note. Use protective jaws

Install

3. 3. Attach piston (2) to con-rod (3) • Markings on piston head (1) and con-rod (4) point towards each other • Press in piston pin (5) – Coat piston pin with engine oil • Insert new retaining rings (6) in piston ring groove

Note. Note position of ring gap - ring gap must be in the area of dimension I (max 30°).

4. 4. Attach piston rings
