Replacing One Piston / Con-Rod Opel Corsa D

Remove

1. 1. Remove piston rings
2. 2. Detach piston (3) from con-rod • Clamp piston (4) • Remove retainer (1) • Push out piston pin (2)

Note. Use protective jaws

Install

3. 3. Attach piston (2) to con-rod (3) • Marking on piston head (1) and con-rod (4) point towards each other • Push in piston pin (5) – Coat piston pin with engine oil. • Insert new retainers (6) in ring groove of piston

Note. Note position of ring joint. Ring joint must be within the range of measurement I (max. 30°)

4. 4. Attach piston rings
