Replace Residual Oil Quantity Sensor Opel Corsa D

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Raise vehicle by its full height
3. 3. Place collecting basin underneath.
4. 4. Drain engine oil • Unscrew oil drain bolt (1) • Replace seal • Tighten oil drain bolt 20 Nm

5. 5. Remove lower part of oil pan (1) • Unscrew 15x bolt • Detach lower part of oil pan with KM-J-37228

6. 6. Remove residual oil quantity sensor • Disconnect wiring harness plug (4) • Release retaining clamp (3) • Unscrew 3x bolts (1 and 2)

7. 7. Detach residual oil quantity sensor from retaining plate • Unscrew 2x nuts

Install

8. 8. Attach residual oil quantity sensor to retaining plate • Tighten 2x nuts 8 Nm
9. 9. Install residual oil quantity sensor • Fix wiring harness plug • Latch retaining clamp • Tighten 3x bolt 24 Nm
10. 10. Clean sealing surfaces. • Lower part of oil pan • Upper part of oil pan
11. 11. Install lower part of oil pan • Apply a bead of silicone sealing compound to sealing surfaces of lower part of oil pan • Tighten 15x bolts 10 Nm

Note. Select a suitable sealing compound from the replacement parts catalogue

12. 12. Lower vehicle by its full height
13. 13. Top up engine oil
14. 14. Close bonnet
