Check the Compression Opel Corsa D

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Prevent injection with TECH II • Remove cover • Remove protective cap • Connect TECH II to the base
3. 3. Remove sheathed glow plugs

Measure

4. 4. Connect compression plotter to cylinder 1 • Carefully screw in KM-6367 • Connect compression recorder – On KM-6367 – Measurement range 1000 to 4000 kPa (10 to 40 bar)

Note. Observe manufacturer's instructions

5. 5. Compression, Check • Start engine for approx. 4 seconds • Maximum permissible pressure difference: 150 kPa (1.5 bar). • Remove compression plotter with KM-6367 from cylinder 1

Note. Use a second person

Note. Engine speed at least 200 rpm

6. 6. Compression, Check • Cylinders 2 to 4
7. 7. Compare compression values • Maximum permissible pressure difference: 150 kPa (1.5 bar).

Install

8. 8. Install sheathed glow plugs
9. 9. Detach TECH II • Attach TECH II from base • Attach protective cap • Fit cover
10. 10. Close bonnet
