If TECH 1 receives data from the control unit, no trouble code is stored, but the engine does not start, the necessary tests are outlined in Table 4.

· Connect OPEL Tester

Dial test program "Workshop Test" according to vehicle identification.

All information required for perfect engine starting is contained, evaluated and displayed in this special test program.

If there is no OPEL Tester available, the following tests are to be carried out:

· Battery (see also F0:DATA LIST, test step 01)

· Starter

· Compression

· Primary voltage

· Secondary voltage (see also F0:DATA LIST, test step 12)

· CO and CH measurements

· Injection signal (see also F0:DATA LIST, test step 21 and F5:ACTUATOR TEST, test step 02)

· Engine speed signal from inductive pulse pick-up (see also F0:DATA LIST, test step 12)

· Hall sensor signal (see also F0:DATA LIST, test step 28)
