Table 2, Trouble Code Table
| Trouble Code | Information Sensor |
|---|---|
| Cause of Fault | Remedy in |
F0: DATA LIST
| No. | Trouble Code Storage when | |
|---|---|---|
| 14 | COOLANT TEMP. | |
| VOLTAGE LOW | · Coolant temperature higher than 140 °C / 282 °F (short circuit to ground) |
· Above condition must be fulfilled for at least 1.0 s
Replacement values:
· With ignition On and trouble codes 69 and 71 not present, the intake air temperature is taken as the starting value.
· With ignition On and trouble code 69 or 71 present, 10 °C / 50 °F is taken as the starting value.
· If a plausible measured value has already been produced for the coolant temperature, it is used as the starting value
· The starting value is increased by 1 °C / 1.8 °F every 146 cycles (1 cycle = 720 °CA) to a maximum value of 99 °C / 211 °F.
This value is used for the remaining engine operation.
Effects:
· All adaptation except knock control, throttle valve control and idle speed adjuster control is blocked
· The tank vent valve regulation is blocked and the tank vent valve closed
