· Duration of load reduction ignition retard longer than 2.5 s

(duration of load reduction ignition retard too long)

· Conditions must be fulfilled for at least 3.0 s

Effects:

· Load reduction ignition retard is blocked for 10 s. If the fault occurs for a third time, the load reduction ignition retard is deactivated until "ignition Off".

If valid load reduction ignition retard occurs before the third attempt, the counter for failed attempts is deleted and the load reduction ignition retard signal is observed again
