Testing Ribbed V-Belt Tensioner Opel Corsa D

Note. Testing consists of a function check on the automatic ribbed V-belt tensioner and a visual check on the ribbed V-belt and the components linked to it.

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Raise vehicle by its full height
3. 3. Detach lower engine compartment cover and right-hand engine splash protection if necessary
4. 4. Testing ribbed V-belt tensioner • Tension the ribbed V-belt tensioner in the direction of the arrow using screw (1) and allow it to slide back slowly

Note. The ribbed V-belt tensioner must slide back to its initial position.

Install

5. 5. Attach lower engine compartment cover and right-hand engine splash protection if removed
6. 6. Lower vehicle by its full height
7. 7. Close bonnet
