How to Check the Timing Opel Corsa D

Remove

1. 1. Detach front toothed belt cover (top)
2. 2. Raise vehicle by its full height
3. 3. Remove right engine splash guard
4. 4. Set engine to TDC of combustion stroke • Turn torsional vibration damper in direction of engine rotation to "Cylinder no.1 TDC" (Marking 1)

5. 5. Lower vehicle by its full height
6. 6. Insert KM-6340 into camshaft sprockets • Attach KM-6340-Left (1) to intake camshaft sprocket • Insert KM-6340-Right (2)
7. 7. Timing, Check • Markings (3) on KM-6340 must align – If the timing markings do not correspond - see Procedure "Adjust timing

8. 8. Raise vehicle by its full height
9. 9. Check crankshaft position • Marking on torsional vibration damper must align with marking on toothed belt cover lower part

Install

10. 10. Install right engine splash guard
11. 11. Lower vehicle by its full height
12. 12. Remove KM-6340
13. 13. Attach front toothed belt cover (top)
