Replace Toothed Belt Tensioner Opel Corsa D

DOHC Petrol Engine 2 illustrations ~200 words

Remove

1. Remove toothed belt
2. Remove right engine damping block • Attach engine to engine crane (1) • Detach right engine damping block from side member – Unscrew 3x bolts • Detach right engine damping block from right engine damping block bracket – Unscrew 2x bolts • Detach engine damping block bracket from cylinder head and engine block – Unscrew 3x bolts

Note. Use engine transport shackle

Replace Toothed Belt Tensioner

3. Remove toothed belt tightening roller • Unscrew bolt

Important. Cleaning the thread is essential.

4. Clean the thread in the cylinder block

Install

5. Install toothed belt tensioning device • Insert toothed belt tensioning device with new bolt – Free spring leg (1) of toothed belt tension roller must engage in recess (arrow) of pump module • Tighten bolt 20 Nm

Replace Toothed Belt Tensioner

6. Install right engine damping block • Attach engine damping block bracket to cylinder head and engine block – Tighten 3x bolt 60 Nm • Attach right engine damping block to right engine damping block bracket – Tighten 2x new bolt 80 Nm + 45° • Attach right engine damping block to side member – Tighten 3x bolt 60 Nm • Unhitch engine from engine crane.
