How to Replace the Seal Ring - Front Crankshaft Opel Corsa D

Remove

  1. 1. Remove toothed belt drivewheel

Important. Do not damage sealing surfaces

  1. 2. Remove crankshaft seal ring (front) with KM-J-45000

Install

  1. 3. Insert front crankshaft seal ring (1) • Clean sealing surfaces. • Smear sealing lip with silicone grease (white) • Slide protective sleeve of KM-6351 (2) onto crankshaft journal • Slide seal ring over protective sleeve on the crankshaft journal
  1. 4. Press in front crankshaft seal ring • Remove protective sleeve and press seal ring into pump housing with KM-6351 (3) – Use bolt (1) and washer (2) of the crankshaft drive gear
  1. 5. Remove toothed belt drivewheel
