How to Check the Compression Opel Corsa D

DOHC Petrol Engine 1 illustration

Remove

1. Remove throttle valve module
2. Remove spark plugs
3. Remove relay carrier cover
4. Remove fuel pump relay • Pull relay K3 out of base

Measure

5. Compression, Check • Cylinder 4 • Start the engine (approx. 4 seconds) • Compare compression values – Maximum pressure difference: 100 kPa (1 bar).

Note. 2 people

Note. Engine speed at least 300 rpm

How to Check the Compression

Install

6. Install fuel pump relay • Plug into base – Ensure perfect plug contacts
7. Install relay carrier cover
8. Install spark plugs
9. Install throttle valve module
