Intercooler Replacement Opel Agila B

Engine Control and Fuel System - D13A ~378 words

Remove

1. Raise vehicle
2. Release 2x front wheel house protective panelling from front panelling • Remove 4x clip (1)

3. Release front panelling from lower front body panel • Remove 3x bolt (1)

4. Lower vehicle
5. Release front panelling from 2x front wing • Remove 2x screw (1)
6. Release front panelling from upper front body panel • Remove 2x clip (3), 4x bolt (2)

7. Remove front panelling from vehicle • Release front panelling from 2x side bracket (1) – Pull off • Disconnect 2x harness connector from 2x front fog lamp (if installed)

Note. 2x technician are required.

8. Disconnect outlet hose (1) from intercooler (3) • Release clip • Install 2x new blanking plug
9. Disconnect inlet hose (2) from intercooler (3) • Release clip • Install 2x new blanking plug
10. Remove intercooler (3) from vehicle • Remove bolt (4) • Release 2x locator

11. Remove inlet pipe assembly (3) from intercooler (2) • Remove bolt • Disconnect inlet hose (1) from intercooler (2) – Release clip • Install 2x new blanking plug
12. Remove spacer and rubber grommet from intercooler • Prise off

Install

13. Install rubber grommet and spacer to new intercooler (2) • Push on
14. Install inlet pipe assembly (3) to intercooler (2) • Remove 2x blanking plug • Connect inlet hose (1) to intercooler (2) – Secure clip • Install bolt

15. Install intercooler (3) to vehicle • Secure 2x locator • Install bolt (4)
16. Connect inlet hose (2) to intercooler (3) • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure clip
17. Connect outlet hose (1) to intercooler (3) • Remove 2x blanking plug • Secure clip
18. Install front panelling to vehicle • Connect 2x harness connector to 2x front fog lamp (if installed) • Secure front panelling to 2x side bracket (1) – Push on

Note. 2x technician are required.

19. Secure front panelling to upper front body panel • Install 4x bolt (2), 2x clip (3)
20. Secure front panelling to 2x front wing • Install 2x screw (1)

21. Raise vehicle
22. Secure front panelling to lower front body panel • Install 3x bolt (1)

23. Secure 2x protective panelling to front panelling • Install 4x clip (1)

24. Lower vehicle
