Mass Air Flow Meter Replacement Opel Agila B

Remove

  1. 1. For vehicles without diesel particulate filter, download data from engine control unit using Tech 2
  2. 2. For vehicles without diesel particulate filter, perform “Reset” before replacement of mass air flow (MAF) meter • Use Tech 2
  3. 3. Disconnect harness connector (4) from MAF meter (2)
  4. 4. Disconnect hose (1) from MAF meter • Release clip, then move hose to one side
  5. 5. Remove MAF meter from cover of air cleaner assembly (3) • Remove 2x bolt

Install

  1. 6. Install new seal ring (1) to new MAF meter
  1. 7. Install MAF meter (2) to cover of air cleaner assembly (3) • Install 2x bolt
  2. 8. Connect hose (1) to MAF meter • Secure clip
  3. 9. Connect harness connector (4) to mass air flow meter
  1. 10. For vehicles without diesel particulate filter, program MAF meter • Connect Tech 2 to diagnostic socket • Select F0: DIAGNOSTICS • Select corresponding vehicle identification • Select F1: ENGINE • Turn "ON" Ignition and press CONFIRM • Press CONFIRM again for MAF meter • Select F5: Programming • Select Program MAF meter; then select CONFIRM • Follow menu guide in Tech 2 to end of program
  2. 11. For vehicles without diesel particulate filter, turn off Tech 2 then remove from vehicle • Disconnect Tech 2 from diagnostic socket
