Fuel Pressure Check Opel Agila B

Engine Control and Fuel System - D13A ~141 words

Remove

  1. 1. Raise vehicle • Clean fuel pipe connections before you disconnect them • Use compressed air
  2. 2. Release fuel feed hose (2) • Release clip
  3. 3. Install tool adaptor (3) KM-6422 with tool adaptor (1) CH-49151 and fuel pressure gauge tool KM-J-34730-91J to fuel supply hose
  4. 4. Lower vehicle
  5. 5. Check the battery is 11 volts or more
  6. 6. Turn ignition switch on to operate fuel pump until fuel system is pressurised, check fuel pressure reading then turn off ignition. Repeat operation 4 times and compare gauge readings, standard pressure is 190 - 250 kPa

Note. 2x technician are required.

Install

  1. 7. Raise vehicle
  2. 8. Remove tool adaptor (3) KM-6422 with tool adaptor (1) CH-49151 and fuel pressure gauge tool KM-J-34730-91J from fuel supply pipe
  3. 9. Secure fuel feed hose (2) • Secure clip
  1. 10. Lower vehicle
