Quick Warming Up System
This driver controlled system is installed to shorten the time for warming up the engine when cold.
The quick warming up system is operated by choking both the intake air and exhaust gasses to increase the engine temperature quickly.
Throttle valves are installed in the inlet system and exhaust pipe and are moved by vacuum operated diaphragm actuators.
| The function of the throttles is to restrict intake air volume and also restrict exhaust gas passage to atmosphere. These combined restrictions lead to a choking effect on the engine, leading to increased engine temperature. | |||
