Flywheel
A dual mass flywheel is installed on the engine.
The hub of the flywheel provides a sealing surface for the rear oil seal. The crankshaft needle bearing is carried over from the petrol engines.
| Four slots are machined at 90 intervals in the periphery of the flywheel and are used to trigger the engine speed sensor. | |||

The crankshaft needle bearing is replaced using the identical tools to those on the petrol engines.
