Engine Maximum Speed, Check and Adjust
Engine to be at normal operating temperature.
Switch off all electrical components.

| Engine speed at crankshaft pulley - use photocell tachometer directed at piece of reflecting tape (arrowed) attached to front face of crankshaft pulley. | |||

Break wire seal, loosen locknut (2).
Turn engine maximum speed stop screw (1); maximum engine speed - 5000 rpm.
