Oil Circuit
The pump draws oil from the oil pan and delivers it via a pressure relief valve and full - flow filter for distribution throughout the engine.
The undersides of the pistons and the cylinder walls are sprayed with oil from jets, which are located in the middle bearing carriers (illustrated) and rear bearing carrier for the crankshaft.
