Remove
Rockershaft assembly – see operation "Rocker Shaft and Arms Remove and Install".
Remove
Valve spring - apply compressed air to cylinder via glow plug hole to hold valve in place compress valve spring and remove split collar upper valve seat use KM-J-29760.
Caution
Keep removed valve springs in cylinder order number.
Install
Valve spring painted area (arrowed) of valve spring to face cylinder head.
Upper valve spring seat onto valve.
Split collar - use KM-J-29760 using compressed air via glow plug hole to hold valve in place tap valve stem with rubber hammer to set collars.
Install
