Place cylinder head on two wooden strips.
Measure
Cylinder head for deformations along length and width as well as for warping along the diagonals – use suitable straight edge and feeler gauges.
Maximum deformation of plane surface 0.20 mm.
On 4JA1T and 4JA1TC engine regrinding of cylinder head to a maximum limit of minus 0.30 mm.
On 4JG2T engine regrinding of the cylinder head is not permitted.
Caution
If cylinder head is reground check valve seating depression - see operation "Indentation of Valves Check".
Measure
Cylinder head (4JA1T and 4JA1TC engine only) – minimum height "A" 91.55 mm.
