Engine can not be started, several error codes are set, engine control does not start with ignition position "On", fuel pump relay "hums", engine stalls / dies during driving, engine jerking, inexact coolant temperature indication.

Cause:

Loose ground point engine to mounting - power steering pump.

Production Solution:

Remedy:

Loosen ground cable and remove /install stud, ground cable.

Working procedure:

1.��� Open hood.

2.��� Disconnect battery.

3.��� Remove nut, stud (Pic.I).

4.��� Disconnect ground cable.

5.��� Remove stud, ground cable.

6.��� Apply bolt fixing material on stud, ground cable.

7.��� Install stud, ground cable and tighten with a torque of 25 Nm.

8.��� Connect ground cable.

9.��� Install nut, stud (Pic. I) and tighten with a torque of 20 Nm.

10.� Connect battery.

11.� Close hood.

12.� Reprogram volatile memories.
