Camshaft Sensor, Simtec 56.5 Opel Omega B

Objective:

Checking Operation.

Measurement:

Plot of voltage at the signal output of the camshaft sensor.

Preparation:

Switch off the engine and ignition.

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect the red measurement lead to pin 3 of the plug connector for the camshaft sensor. Connect the black ground lead to pin 1.Connect the red measurement lead to pin 2 of the plug connector for the camshaft sensor.

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download Reference curve.
  2. 2. Start engine and allow it to idle.
