Cylinder Head
The cylinder head of the X 20 XEV DOHC petrol engine corresponds to that of the C 18 XE DOHC petrol engine in the Astra - F.
The only modification is replacement of the cover on the DIS ignition module cover with an exhaust gas recirculation valve.

The introduction of the secondary air injection system makes replacement of the exhaust manifold more extensive.

| Before disconnecting the exhaust manifold from he cylinder head, the entire secondary air injection system must be removed from the exhaust manifold. | |||

Before installing the secondary air injection system on the exhaust manifold, attach new seal washers o the metal pipe - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
