Modifications which affect the Omega-B as of Model Year 97 1/2 are described in the "All Vehicle Types" section. The most important modifications are:
- Measures on the X 25 XE and X 30 XE engines
- New plug connections for the front door and co-driver's door wiring harnesses
- Navigation system (optional equipment)
