How to Replace the Bypass Valve Opel Omega B

Remove

Remove oil filter – see operation "Oil Filter, Replace".

For version with heat exchanger: Remove heat exchanger – see operation "Heat Exchanger, Remove and Install".

Using tap (1) (M10 – 3rd speed) cut thread in shutter disc, screw in M10 bolt and remove bypass valve from seat.

Install

Install bypass valve – drive in to stop using drift ( Ø approx. 15 mm).

For version with heat exchanger: Install heat exchanger – see operation "Heat Exchanger, Remove and Install".

Install oil filter – see operation "Oil Filter, Replace".

Inspect

Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.
