How to Replace the Safety Valve Opel Omega B

Remove

Version with air conditioning: Remove auxiliary component bracket from cylinder block – see operation "Auxiliary Component Bracket, Remove and Install".

Remove closure plug (1) from oil pump – remove seal ring, spring, piston from oil pump.

Install

Install piston (2 – note installation position), spring (3), seal ring (4), closure bolt (5) in oil pump – tightening torque 50 Nm / 36.9 lbf. ft.

Version with air conditioning: attach auxiliary component bracket to cylinder block – see operation "Auxiliary Component Bracket, Remove and Install".
