Replace Oil Separator Opel Meriva A

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery • Detach ground clamp from ground terminal – Undo nut
3. 3. Remove engine cover.
4. 4. Remove air intake hose (2) with mass air flow meter (1) • Disconnect mass air flow sensor wiring harness plug (3) • Release 2x clamp

5. 5. Raise vehicle all the way
6. 6. Detach oil separator (4) • Detach engine vent hose (3) from oil separator – Release clamp • Unscrew 2x bolt
7. 7. Lower vehicle all the way
8. 8. Remove oil separator • Detach engine vent hose (1) from air intake pipe – Release clamp • Detach engine vent hose (2) from timing case – Release clamp – Unclip from bracket

Install

9. 9. Install oil separator • Attach engine vent hose to air intake pipe – Fasten clamp • Attach engine vent hose to timing case – Fasten clamp – Clip into bracket
10. 10. Raise vehicle all the way
11. 11. Attach oil separator • Attach engine vent hose to oil separator – Fasten clamp • Tighten 2x bolt 9 Nm
12. 12. Lower vehicle all the way
13. 13. Install air intake hose with mass air flow meter • Tighten 2x clamp 3.5 Nm • Connect wiring harness plug of mass air flow meter
14. 14. Install engine cover.
15. 15. Connect battery • Attach ground clamp to ground terminal – Tighten nut
16. 16. Calibrate steering angle sensor • Switch ignition on

Note. Turn steering wheel once from right stop to left stop.

17. 17. Program volatile memory
18. 18. Close bonnet
