Remove

  1. 1. Raise vehicle all the way
  2. 2. Detach lower engine compartment cover / spray guard
  3. 3. Remove ribbed V-belt (1) • Mark running direction • Tension clockwise (arrow) at tensioning device tension pulley bolt • Lock tensioning device with KM-6130 (2)
  1. 4. Remove ribbed V-belt tensioner (1) • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioning device clockwise at tensioning device tension pulley, remove KM-6130 • Unscrew bolt (2)
  1. 5. Remove torsional vibration damper (1) • Unscrew 4x bolt

Note. Ribbed V-belt tensioner does not have to be removed.

Note. Counterhold at bolt (2)

Install

  1. 6. Install torsional vibration damper • Tighten 4x bolt 25 Nm

Note. Counterhold at torsional vibration damper flange bolt

  1. 7. Install ribbed V-belt tensioner • Tighten bolt 50 Nm • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioning device clockwise at tensioning device tension pulley, insert KM-6130
  2. 8. Install ribbed V-belt • Pay attention to ribbed V-belt direction of travel • Install ribbed V-belt – I. Ribbed V-belt routing without air conditioning system – II. Ribbed V-belt routing with air conditioning system • Tension ribbed V-belt tensioning device clockwise at tension pulley bolt • Remove KM-6130
  1. 9. Attach lower engine compartment cover / spray guard
  2. 10. Lower vehicle all the way
