How to Replace the Left Engine Damping Block Opel Meriva A

Remove

  1. 1. Remove battery support.
  2. 2. Raise vehicle all the way
  1. 3. Attach KM-6394 (1) • Position KM-6394 at front on front axle body • Move front bracket (2) in direction of arrow • Position rear right bracket (4) on front axle body • Attach rear left bracket (3) – Screw in 2x bolt • Tighten 6 bolts

Note. The two guide pins (arrows) must be seated in the holes in the front axle body.

  1. 4. Install support • To KM-6394 – Adjust bracket (2) for support • Screw on nut (1)
  2. 5. Install 3x supports • Transmission side • Engine timing side – Insert journal of the support in the bore of the cylinder block without play (arrow) – Tighten nuts (1)

Note. Turn spindles until mounts (3) are positioned at the guide journals free of play.

  1. 6. Lower vehicle all the way
  2. 7. Release left-hand engine damping block adapter (1) • From transmission bracket (6) – Unscrew 2 bolts (3)
  3. 8. Remove left-hand transmission bracket (6) • Unscrew 3x bolt
  4. 9. Remove left-hand engine damping block (2) • Unscrew 4x bolt

Install

  1. 10. Install left engine damping block • Tighten 4x bolt 25 Nm
  2. 11. Install left transmission bracket • Tighten 3x bolts 60 Nm
  3. 12. Fasten left-hand engine damping block adapter • Tighten 2x new bolts 80 Nm+60°+15°
  4. 13. Raise vehicle all the way
  5. 14. Detach support
  6. 15. Detach KM-6394
  7. 16. Lower vehicle all the way
  8. 17. Install battery carrier
