How to Replace the Right Engine Damping Block Opel Meriva A

Remove

  1. 1. Remove air cleaner housing
  2. 2. Raise vehicle all the way
  3. 3. Remove engine compartment cover or right engine splash guard
  1. 4. Attach KM-6394 • Position KM-6394 (1) at front on front axle body • Move front bracket (2) in direction of arrow • Position rear right bracket (4) on front axle body • Attach rear left bracket (3) – Screw in 2x bolt • Tighten 6 bolts

Note. The two guide pins (arrows) must be seated in the holes in the front axle body.

  1. 5. Install support • To KM-6394 – Adjust bracket (2) for support • Screw on nut (1)
  2. 6. Install 3x supports • Transmission side • Engine timing side – Insert journal of the support in the bore of the cylinder block without play (arrow) – Tighten nuts (1)

Note. Turn spindles until mounts (3) are positioned at the guide journals free of play.

  1. 7. Lower vehicle all the way
  2. 8. Remove right engine damping block (1) • Unscrew 4x bolt

Install

  1. 9. Install right engine damping block • To side member – Tighten 2x bolt 40 Nm • On engine bracket – Tighten 2x new bolts 60 Nm+30°+15°
  2. 10. Raise vehicle all the way
  3. 11. Detach support
  4. 12. Detach KM-6394
  5. 13. Install engine compartment cover or right engine splash guard
  6. 14. Lower vehicle all the way
  7. 15. Install air cleaner housing
