| Cause: | Noise in passenger compartment cause by insufficient vibration damper of fuel pipe. |
| Production: | As of following VIN: Rüsselsheim: W0L0JBF1911097986, Luton: W0L0JBF6817051082 modified clips have been introduced in production. |
Remedy:
Replacement of production-fitted clips-fuel intake pipe by an improved version.
Working procedure:
1. Remove air intake pipe.
2. Unhinge fuel pipes from clips at bulkhead.
3. Push fuel pipes carefully to the front and unscrew clip from stud bolt at bulkhead (see pic.I, pos. 1).
4. Unscrew clip from stud bolt at bulkhead (see pic. I, pos. 2.)
5. Spray rubber guide at new clips with silicone spray to facilitate the induction of fuel lines into the clips.
6. Install clip to stud bolt and fasten. (see pic.I, pos. 1).
7. Install clip to stud bolt and fasten. (see pic. I, pos. 2.)
8. Hang fuel lines into clips and close clips.
9. Install air intake pipe.
