Objective:
Analysis of the primary voltage generated in the engine control unit.
Measurement:
Plot of the primary voltage with the engine idling (single display).
Preparation:
Caution - high voltage Observe safety advice! Engine oil temperature greater than 80°C .
Connections:

| Connect the red measurement lead to terminal 1, 2 or 3 of the ignition coil plug. Connect the black ground lead to the ground. |
Procedure Tech 31:
- 1. Download Reference curve.
- 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
