Idle Speed Actuator, Simtec Opel Vectra B

Objective:

Check the control system.

Measurement:

Control signal for the Idle Speed Actuator.

Preparation:

Engine oil temperature greater than 80°C . Switch off the engine and the ignition.

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect the red measurement lead to pin 2 of the idle speed actuator connection plug. Connect the black ground lead to ground.

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download Reference curve.
  2. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
