Objective:
Checking Operation.
Measurement:
Plot of voltage at the signal output of the camshaft sensor.
Preparation:
Switch off the engine and ignition.
Connections:

| Connect the red measurement lead to pin 2 (B) of the plug connector for the camshaft sensor. Connect the black ground lead to pin 3 (C). |
Procedure Tech 31:
- 1. Download Reference curve.
- 2. Start engine and allow it to idle.
Reference Curve:
Note. In general a fault on the camshaft sensor leads to total failure, i.e. the signal plot cannot be measured.
