- Voltage at this point in procedure is more than 5.5 volts. If voltage is 4 volts or less, go to next step. If voltage is more than 4 volts, reconnect all connectors. Perform «TEST NTC-11A: CHECKING OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER»(ref-576-S13713580762000030800000) «TEST NTC-11A: ROAD TEST FOR OBD-II TROUBLE CODES»(ref-576-S13713580762000030800000) .
- Cycle ignition off. Turn ignition on. Using a DVOM, backprobe between PCM connector O2S 1/1 signal circuit and ground. If voltage is more than 4 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 4 volts or less, replace faulty PCM. Perform «TEST VER-5A: ROAD TEST FOR OBD-II TROUBLE CODES»(ref-576-S36272092702000030800000) .
- Using a DVOM, check for an open between O2S 1/1 connector (harness side) signal circuit and PCM connector terminal No. 30. See «O2S 1/1 CONNECTOR WIRE IDENTIFICATION (HARNESS SIDE)»(ref-576-S35580416932000030800000) table and «PCM CONNECTOR WIRE IDENTIFICATION»(ref-576-S16876519512000030800000) table. If an open circuit is present, repair open circuit as necessary. Perform «TEST VER-5A: ROAD TEST FOR OBD-II TROUBLE CODES»(ref-576-S36272092702000030800000) . If an open circuit is not present, reconnect all connectors. Perform «TEST NTC-11A: CHECKING OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER»(ref-576-S13713580762000030800000) .
