Thermostat Housing, Checking Audi TT 8N

Note. Collect drained coolant in a clean container for re-use or disposal.

1. Remove thermostat housing. Refer to «Thermostat housing, removing and installing»(ref-276269-S29370771572008010300000) .

1. Remove bolts (arrows) and remove connection -1-.

1. Remove O-ring -3- with thermostat -2- from thermostat housing -1-.
2. Heat thermostat in container of water.

1) Cannot be tested

1. Install thermostat housing. Refer to «Thermostat housing, removing and installing»(ref-276269-S29370771572008010300000) .
2. Fill cooling system. Refer to «Cooling system, draining and filling»(ref-276269-S04050758062008010300000) .
