Special tools and equipment required
- Counterhold T10069
Removing
- Transmission removed
- Mark installation position of flywheel on engine.
Note. To prevent damage to the dual-mass flywheel when removing, the bolts -B- must not be removed with an impact wrench or similar. Removing the bolts must be done by hand with conventional tools.
- Rotate dual-mass flywheel -A- so that bolts align with holes (arrows).
Note. When removing the bolts, make sure that the bolt heads do not come into contact with the dual-mass flywheel. The flywheel will otherwise be damaged as the bolts are unscrewed.
- Unbolt dual-mass flywheel (counterhold on vibration damper with T10069).
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order. Note the following.
Note. Use new bolts for securing the flywheel.
