Removing and Installing Sensor Wheel Audi TT 8N

The sensor wheel and securing bolts must be replaced every time the bolts are loosened.

1. Contact surface of crankshaft/sensor wheel must be free of oil and grease.

1. Thinly coat contact surface of crankshaft/sensor wheel with locking fluid

1. "VR6" marking -2- must be positioned at bore of bolt -3- that goes into crankshaft crankpin (contour of crankshaft is shown by dashed line -1-)
2. Gap (arrow) in ring gear lies across from designation
3. Second "VR6" marking -4- may be ignored

1. Tighten new bolts only finger-tight.
2. Tighten bolt -1-.
3. Tighten bolt -2-.
